Fairy Tale Dance Camp

Stella got to attend Fairy Tale Dance Camp this week in Exeter and she had the most fun! We went shopping beforehand to get her some bigger dance gear as she has been trying to squeeze her foot into her ballet slippers that she got when she was 2.5. She has been excited since I signed her up in May I believe it was and finally the time arrived. She was so happy!

Another Day Of Fun

Each day they begin by coloring a picture of one of the character's that is in the book they will be reading that day. They do all sorts of dancing, have snack, read their story and create something special. The first day it was a gigantic tissue paper flower, then a flower pot and then a wand, wings and a crown over the rest of the days.

The final day of class, they held a small performance where the parents got to watch a couple of their favorite dances, and even join in. Stella made the teachers nice thank you cards and we gave them little bouquets of flowers and I surprised Stella with her own bouquet. She deserved it and we can't wait to sign her up for more dance classes.
